@Fairygirl, from memory, I think you can see it as you come over the hill at Bishopton on the way down to Greenock.
    Devon.

I'm never really down that way Hosta. I cross the Erskine Bridge to go to Dumbarton and head up the Loch Lomond road, but I never really go further west on the south side of the river than the cut off for Bishopton.
There's a nice G.Centre there, same organisation as the little one up the road from work, but I've only been in it once or twice.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I think, when the tide is right, you MIGHT be able to see it from the Erskine Bridge.( assuming you're the passenger, and not the driver  ;) )
    Devon.

Nope - driver only nowadays. Won't be trying to do any gymnastics in the car.... :D

    Morning all.

Poor OH had another bad night, coughing and nose blowing. I was so tired I slept through most of it.

Quiet day is planned. Weather is going to change from being warm and sunny to wet and windy. I expect Internet and phone will go again.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hurrah! Are you going for a swim in it later?  ;)
Think I have a leak somewhere near the top of my ickle pond. No matter how much rain we get [and there's certainly been plenty this week ]  the shallows disappear very quickly. It certainly isn't evaporation in the heat anyway.... ;)

No swimming @Fairygirl between the duck poo and the leeches, it hold no appeal.
