Evening Forkers! Enjoyed reading back at everyone’s posts just now - haven’t checked all day, which is unusual for me.
To reflect on my day, I conclude that I am officially over my rock and roll youth, as I spent most of the afternoon doing a jigsaw!! It is an RHS one though! It’s 1000 pieces, so not finished yet. OH keeps popping in and doing bits, which I haven’t decided if this is annoying or helpful. In other news, just polished off a whole apple crumble between two. Naughty but nice.
Morning Dove/afties Pat. I was awake about 7am, but I watched the news for a while as it was still quite dark, and now I'm here with a cuppa, so entertain me
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
A trickle is never good Dove, unless it's a choice between that and a flood... I have a damp spot in the hall where the existing building meets the new one. It's only when there's very heavy rain. I noticed it when I was painting the ceiling last year, but it had dried in, and after sealing and painting it was fine, but there's another little bit after the recent storms and wet weather. It must be at the joint of the 2 roofs. Cold and dry here, but some dark clouds around. I think to be mainly dry today. I will hopefully get some outdoor things done if I wrap up warm. Temp's about 6 at the moment. I should go and put bird food out on the ground feeder now that it's light enough to see.

Morning all. 12 hour marathon at work yesterday so I didn't get online last night. Slept like a log last night. @The Gardeners Boy maybe you can help me choose? WNO are coming to Plymouth next year . They're doing Mozart's Magic Flute,Verdi's Un ballo in mashera and Donizetti's Roberto Devereux. Distance and finances mean we can't see all three. I've seen none of them. Any preference?

Hope you all doing ok this Sunday.
Hello all, a bit late I know, but I spent the day with daughter and grandchildren. Then watched Strictly Results and The Cry why I got home.
The Cry has been very good apart from the first rather muddling episode. I like the actress, she was Queen Victoria in that series.
Welcome back The Gardeners Boy I hope you are enjoying your retirement, sounds like it. You'll soon wonder how you ever had time to go to work.
That's a good haul, Obelixx.
Good morning all ....

Today we have to try to discover where a trickle of water under the washing machine is coming from ...
