    Happy Birthday Fairy.

Happy Anniversary, Chicky, think I said it yesterday, was that too early?

Rubbish weather out there, raining, at least the gale has dropped.

Bit a of a dull day to come, dusting, changing sheets. France Telecom supposed to be coming this afternoon to sort out phone and Internet.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Man from France Telecom has just been. He said he thought there was a problem inside the house, I would have to pay 69€ which I have done several times already. I said I was sure it wasn't and that it's worse every time it rains. He went off to look at the line down the drive and tested it. Sure enough there is a fault, been telling them that for ages. He can't repair it, need to send the van with the cherry picker.

Now he's gone I'm off to the GC to look for violets.

I had to read that twice @Busy-Lizzie ... I thought the man from France Telecom was going to the GC to look for violets ... I warmed to him  ;)

    :D Dove,

Been to the GC and bought violets. There were little wooden trays of 9 on offer at only 1€ each. Have a lot of planting in the pots around the house to do when the rain stops. Not raining now, very grey, but a bit late to start.

    Happy birthday @Fairygirl!

Thanks for all the lovely birthday wishes folks  x  :)
Not quite that young LP....27.... ;)
Lots of lovely cake on here...hope I'm getting some real stuff later....
Congrats again for today chicky and Mr chicky.  Yes - I can see all the pix! Make sure you don't mix those two up, chicky. Roses are a bit chewy  ;)
As we were talking singer/songwriters yesterday, I got talented Tom Odell's first two albums [as I didn't get round to buying them ] and his new one to come when it's out next week, for  my prezzies. Couple of other things too, and a fish supper for tea. That's me sorted. Cheap date  :D
Off to take daughter for a drive so will catch up with you all later.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
