I think Pru is good on BakeOff ... she’s not the baker that Mary is, she’s more of a businesswoman than a hands on cook, but she knows how to keep the slimy obnoxious PH in order and doesn’t simper at him and encourage his lecherous behaviour as I’m afraid Mary in her naivety did. I also adore Noel and am a big fan of the way he and Sandi work on the programme.

I’m back from the gallery and having a cuppa. Fed up. Not one visitor today. Talk about boring. Never mind, more pies to warm up for us again. Yummy. still drizzling outside. Chicky, I didn’t even think about the Roos on parade in the photo. They’re always around the yard. 😀
Morning all. Bit of a rubbish night last night . I didn't get to sleep until after 2am. Hey ho, at least it's the bad night which are the exceptions now, not the norm. So glad you've had more rain @Pat E. Bright and breezy out so another lovely day in the garden beckons.
Morning folks, afternoon Pat, skim read back little recall tho, BusyL is back I read and had a wonderful time, LilyP's eyes are interesting and improving, very pleased to hear! And I'm intrigued by kewi berries! As Dove said, I'm now off work until Monday, booked some time to get work done on the car and have a well needed rest....I've now got a cold! Not totally debilitating but annoying all the same! Visit to the farm shop today to get some chicken. No other plans, except second coffee!
Bet you are Hosta, sleep deprivation is horrendous! Hmmm the garden and I haven't spent much time together unfortunately, work to many hours! I did have the chance to spend a day out there at the weekend. I've moved some perennials that are in the wrong place, even moved a large choisia... rubbish at spelling plants...am planning a pond for next year. I've been overrun with baby sparrows, I have about thirty at a time eating a feeder full of sunflower hearts and the fat balls a day!! I'll get out and have a tidy, take some pictures, learn how to resize them and post them over my time off. How about you? Are you looking after all your tenders and protecting fur winter? Any new plans? 😊
Hi all. Wall to wall sunshine here. Our recovered sofas returned yesterday and we have totally changed the layout of the living room. Used to have 3 sofas around the walls of the room, very spacious, but a bit empty, unless we had guests. Now have pushed 1 into the bay window and formed a triangle around the fireplace with the 2 recovered sofas, very cosy. Strange that it has taken us 24 years to come up with that arrangement.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
