Keep hearing people talk about Killing Eve ....might have to give it a whirl 🤔

So glad to hear LilyP’s eyes are improving ......hope they are back to normal soon.

Out for dinner with old friends tonight ......well they’re not “old” , but I have known them since Uni days.  Chance for a good natter and a catch up.  Funny to think our kids are now the same age as we were when we first met up 😀

Morning, I have been up for an hour. .there was an unusual aroma and worst suspicions confirmed when I came down. With two dogs one can never be sure who is to blame!
    thank goodness eyes are improving!
my undergardner is on duty today as the guy with the shredder is coming. He reckons it will take about six hours and we keep the chippings
killing Eve is terryfing! But compulsive ,
    hope Punk feeling stronger today

My hero, Joni, puts it so well chicky - 'we look like our mothers did - now,  when we were those kids' age '  :)
Definitely try K.Eve. I just hadn't got round to it with all the other good dramas I was watching. The Cry is also very good - started last weekend.
LP - not sure that's the 'welcome' you wanted with the  eye improvement... :(
Daughter drove well yesterday, and her lesson was also good. Think she was quite relieved after Tuesday's issues.
More rain coming today so I may have to resort to a lot of tea drinking and watching the goldies' antics on the feeder. It's a hard life....

Commiserations to @punkdoc and all THFC fans  :o
@Fairygirl I think there always has to be a cr*p day before you really start becoming a driver ... best of luck to her  :)
Tea drinking and bird watching sounds good  ... I have to catch a bus and go into the city and get my hair cut ...

    Good morning everyone.
We actually have rain. 7 mm overnight and it’s been drizzling all day.  Amazing.

Some stupid London football club FG?

Lovely sunny start to the day and wall to wall blue skies for the next couple of days.  Our friends went off to lie on the sunbeds and admire the stars and Milky Way last night before heading off to bed and are happily heading off to Ile de Ré for a couple of days.  30C in La Rochelle yesterday and we're meeting up there on Saturday before they fly home.

I have a tiler!!   We've had the tiles for a whole year waiting for the bloody builder to get his act together.

I grow parsley in window boxes in the shade Dove and then forget to use it.

Ah - didn't think of a football club....
How frustrating re the tiles Obs. Frustrating altogether when workmen don't do what they should. I appreciate that hold ups happen, it's not possible for it to be smooth running all the time, but a year?
Glad you've got a little 'smirr' Pat, we had that all day yesterday. Dry at the moment, but overcast, and rain to happen later. I should really get my act together and see if I can do something outside until it comes on.

    G’day Pat  :) good morning Obelixx  :)
    coffee has arrived ...
also the charity bag containing clothes I once thought were a good idea but have never worn had been put outside for collection ... I’m never going to wear a sensible skirt and cardi ... they’ve been in the wardrobe at least 5 years still with their labels on. I can remember thinking I ought to have something sensible to wear ... how foolish ... it must’ve been a very bad day  :|

Not the tilers' fault FG.  Stupid builder who doesn't understand what a calendar is for.  Like the plumber and leccy man, the tiler schedules his work according to when his men come free form the previous jib and, as he and his team are good, they have a lead time of at least 4 months.  The builder sends his chaps about according to the weather if it's an outside job or inside job and also according to some schedule known only to him.

Dove - I do sensible in the sense of having clothing for different activities - gardening, dancing, shopping, schlepping, holidays..............
