I’m really impressed and inspired by the Bake Off ideas tonight.

We could do with a 'bit of dry' now Joyce, couldn't we!  :D

Random alert: I had some Kiwi Berries today - anyone tried them? Look like grapes, with a smooth edible skin, but just like Kiwi fruit in side - unreal!

FG, so could my relatives in Oban.
Think we've had enough rain for the next few months.

Not watching Bake Off yet.  Catching up on Great British Menu so we can FF the ads in BO.  If it's Vegan, why are there meringues?

Might get a bit of rain on Thursday but not holding my breath.

You will find out the substitute for egg whites Obelixx. I can't remember the details of all the vegan substitutes.

@Obelixx - the meringues are made with chick pea water (aquafaba) rather than egg whites! It whisks up to look identical! Never knew about that!

OK.  I've seen that before but not seen the point, not being vegan and all.

Poor old Oban's had a right thrashing Joyce. :(  Hope the rellies are ok
The falls at Killin are more like a raging torrent too. Still some warnings for the north tonight. Glen Nevis and Glen Lyon have flood warnings so the Steall Falls will be pretty spectacular. 2,500 tonnes of 'hill' caught in the landslip fences at the R and be T, but lots still got through onto the road. It's going to be closed for a while because the Military Road isn't great either. Fun and games  :/
Thought those meringues looked brilliant. They're a really lovely lot this year in the competition.  :)
