I enjoyed the fabric dying from flowers on GW.
Went for bloods this morning and decided to get the flu jab too, been about 4 years since I had it, thought I'd give it another try, hopefully no side-effects.  It has definitely cut down the amount of chest infections etc. I get over the winter.

@Mary370 no idea of your age so I don't know whether you'll be offered one automatically but as soon as I was 65 and eligible for a pneumonia jab I had one.  My younger brother is prone to chest infections (always has been) and a few years ago he had pneumonia quite badly and it's left him with permanently damaged lungs ... if you can get the jab have it, is my suggestion.

    Now you see it

    Now you don't.

Our new neighbour has removed a massive eucalyptus from their front garden.
The lovely tree surgeon was about 2/3 up the tree at that point.

Well there is good news @Dovefromabove, Moira has re booked my 60th. b'day treat to Gleneagles, for next month. Have wanted to eat at Andrew Fairlie's restaurant for ages.
The other news is not so good, I am sure I will chat about it, when I have got my head round it.
    Hope @Lily Pilly is ok.

Ooof - tree surgeon is not a job I could do, I don’t like going up a ladder to the loft!
Birthday treat sound fabulous Punkdoc. Keep strong through your worries.

I bought steak and ale pasties from the bakery today - just warming them for tea so hope they good as I’ve been ‘Marvin since about 4 O’Clock!

    Evening all.
Good news about the birthday treat @punkdoc, so far as the other news is concerned, you know if you want to talk about it, you'll get a sympathetic hearing , or if you choose not to, that's your choice too. Hosta Hugs to you both.
    Any news from @Lily Pilly?
