Good morning all Gday Pat The Wash is a wonderful place ... wild and bleak and full of wildfowl at this time of year. Not far from us @Pat. Apparently the EU want to stop changing the clocks but we’re objecting ...

I hate the clocks changing and the dark afternoons. I'm not a morning person so I'm happy for it to be dark in the morning. It always cuts afternoons outside short.
I still have the summer duvet as I'd just changed the cover when the weather got colder, so I've put another summer quilt on top.
How could you sleep in summer with a winter duvet, Hosta? Bonkers!
I'm with you on clock changes. It was light at 6.30 this morning when most folk are in bed, but we all have to put our lights on at 6.30 tonight . I'm sure the electricity supply companies love it, but everyone else?? I can push the duvet off when / if I'm too hot. seemples.
Morning all/afties Pat I'm going to disagree with you Hosta - our lights have been on by half six for a while anyway! It never makes any difference to me, the clock change. Never affected the girls when they were little either. I have the same duvet all year round too - 10.5 tog I think. When it was very hot here in summer I just used the cover, and could pull the duvet, or a throw, up over it when it was cooler. My bedroom isn't terribly warm anyway, apart from when the sun comes in during the morning - when I'm not there... Minus 2 out there just now and everything's quite white. Lovely and clear though. I don't think the calibration's right on the wildlife camera - it says minus 10...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all and good afternoon Pat, can we have you temperature please, it’s 3c here going upto 8 and sunshine, it’s the north that had snow ⛄️, Pat is it your summer now?
I'm with the no change lobby regarding clocks I do think it's a bit pointless now we all get up and work such strange hours that it makes really so little difference.
Some good news and most unexpected I won the heaviest pumpkin contest at our village show yesterday, as I only grew it to cover some spare ground and a bit of fun
The pumpkin is going to the local hospice / care home.
If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.
Well done G'sBoy. How lovely to get a trophy too. I bet the rosettes aren't as good as ours though. [I work for a rosette company ] The residents will get a good pot of soup out of that! It's spring time for Pat just now flumpy. She's got some nice bulbs flowering just now
