Good idea.   Geoff H shows how to do it in his Cottage Gardens book I think.  Obelisks too.  Library or charity shops for a copy.

Your right Fairy, but yup I've knocked together a few now, they hold my courgette plants in summer, that has unidentified bulbs of all sorts in now.😊 where I work we get pallets of all sizes, some quarter Euro ones are perfect planter size, might knock up a few more, running low on space to put them but I'll figure it out 😉
Obelixx...No suet? That's a tragedy when you fancy a steak and kidney pudding! Is a once a year thing hee and generally ours the law that papa womble gets invited to test it!

Just got back from Wales. Wonderful last two days in the sunshine. It seems to have rained here. I bought back 7 big binbags full of seaweed, to add to the compost heap. Thank the Swedish, for Volvo estates.

Hi everyone. Can’t seem to shift a headache this evening. I even thought it was Friday night earlier... my brain must think I have worked enough already this week!
Seems I missed a day of 23 degrees and sunny - bet that was the last ‘nice’ day this year too... gggrrrrr!
    Night peeps.

Fairy, could you explain about the roads. I must have missed it earlier.

Hello Fidget. I'm glad you had some lovely sunshine. I hope the seaweed wasn't smelly in the car, good stuff though.

Don't think anyone noticed I'm back from Lake Maggiore, it was beautiful.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hi BusyL, your holiday sounded wonderful. I must admit that if I went anywhere in Europe, I think it would be Italy first, not just for the food, but the lovely scenery.

Hosta, the more photos I see of your garden, the more impressed I am. It’s spectacular. You must have a lot of work in over the years.
