For those who weren't at the wedding of the century you might remember Super Saturday at the London Olympics  :)

Morning everyone. It’s dark now, but just before sunset, a huge cloud moved overhead. Maybe the rain is going to arrive after all.

Good morning.  Going to be hot here today with 42C forecast.   OH has already walked the dogs before it gets too silly for them.

No gardening today then apart form dead-heading and watering later on.   Sewing and research.  Possum wants to go to Bordeaux.   3 hour trip so need a plan and a hotel.

Just been catching up on GWs.   That Xylella is frightening stuff.   One of my new gardening friends has a nursery/GC full of olives and we have oak trees in and around our plot.   Yikes!   Better watch some Beechgrove to cheer myself up.

Hope everyone's OK and gardens are coping.
