Dove I was watching something about bees last night, it was really interesting how they keep an eye on each bee now, I’ve had loads in our garden this year as I bought plants that bees love 🐝
Hi folks, no sooner do I get back from holiday than I end up with lots of nanna duties and no time. Things have calmed down a little and I'm feeling much better following the holiday disasters. Hubby's shoulder is improving too. Only a week to go and new grandson will be making an appearance so I expect I will be rushing around again.
Any spare time I've had has been spent in the garden getting it back in shape after the holiday. Hope everyone is OK and that there have been no major calamaties.
Evening all. Glad you and hubby are on the mend Yvie. You'll need all your strength soon! Liri - re the table. It was one I no longer needed, and we could use it at work in between two machines, but it needed cutting down a bit. Didn't do my aching limbs much good - could have done with someone to hold it in place while I sawed a bit off. Been a damp, drizzly murky day here until late afternoon when it finally shifted. Looks like more on the way though. At least the recent rain has helped the grass seed germinate that I did recently. There's a faint green glow appearing. The pyracantha has a lovely orange glow [think that's it's name] now that the berries are turning. Made Quorn bolognese for dinner. Wasn't bad. I could live with it
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Hello all. Was the Farrow & Ball discussion on here? Am in the NW at the moment and took this photo of their shop window in Manchester today. Thought it might appeal
'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.'
Good morning all 😀☕️ Off later for a visit to MIL and celebratory pizzas with niece ... we may well go laden with tomatoes, courgettes, runner beans and sweet corn
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
