Did you say you were looking to change the planting to a more jungle look? Have you found new plants you want to introduce? With the current weather it definitely giving us all the opportunity to look at new seeds/plants etc. online.
Sorry Mary i was in mid posting when your post came up
Oh i was thinking in that direction due to all the Voodoo Lily plants appearing,..apart from the bloom itself the foliage would suit the Jungle look,.. plus the huge Arum Lily plants,..it was just a thought,..like Oh i must change the appearance lol.
I am getting rid of dozens of Crocosmia Lucifer,..i hate dumping them over the wall as they are not cheap to purchase and i bet somebody has forked out a good sum to stock a garden,..in their place i am planting Lupine,..of which i already have a few and they increase rapidly.
As you mentioned,..our current weather certainly gives us the opportunity to spread our wings,..i would love to get those plate size Hibiscus,..even though i would be breaking my own rule of never buying a plant.
I have lucifer too, I love it......it does seem a shame to dump them. None of my neighbours or friends are interested in their gardens, so I'm not sure what I'll be doing with my perennials in a year or two when they need dividing. Maybe you could do some guerilla gardening and plant them somewhere public, although Lucifer could become a problem if let loose! Lupins, one of my favourites, I planted some seeds yesterday, and I'm delighted to report that my aquilegia Nora Barlow have germinated. I saw them for the first time last year and loved them.

I have just one hope left in disposing of my Cocosmia and that is the two Nurses in the Vets,..they do take plants i have a surplus of any time i offer,..on one condition,..they give me containers,..or at best return the ones i supplied the plants in,..so far that has worked out,..they never remove the plant stickers from the containers from which they purchased plants,..amazing what plants they purchase,..some would only last a few weeks.
Ah yes Lupine,..big blooms and they cross pollinate so its always a surprise in store as to what will appear each season,..delighted for you on germinating your Nora Barlow,..i had pink ones and despite getting rid of all my Aquilegia in the past few weeks i daresay they will continue to appear for some time due to seeds dropped.
Cold weather starting so i prepared my small bird feeder,..its just two hanging baskets face to face tied with wire at the top so they can be swiveled open to replace the suet balls,..the feeder itself is also wired in,..feeding started right away.
A Blackcap.
Rose ( Rosa 'Fragrant Cloud' ) starting to produce more blooms.
Gorgeous roses...........yes, aquilegia can seem weed like but I do like them. That blackcap a cute little bird, it looks like a young one the way his feathers are all fluffy...........great pic of the tit in the feeder
@Mary370 ,..I have just over 30 rose bushes and most have started to bloom again with just as many buds as in the beginning of the season,..Phlox 'Windsor',..has also revived itself,..as for all my Crocosmia Lucifer,..the Vets two assistants will take all of them,..there are over 100,..i am very satisfied they will be replanted instead of dumped.
A very wet Dahlia 'Scarlet/Yellow'.
A sort of Pink would best describe the rose below,..its a No ID.
Hydrangea still showing blooms.
Lungworth 'Pulmonaria officinalis'.
Phlox 'Windsor',..very wet but starting to bloom again.
That pulmonaria is a beauty, I grew some last year, planted out this year, hoping for flowers next year, they have different leaves to yours. I pinched off the flowers of my hydrangea this year as they are only young plants I planted one in the garden a while back. I have 3 in pots, I need to find them homes. Roses are fabulous as usual, I would call that an acid pink. No rain here today, rained all day yesterday! That's an unusual colour for phlox, I have a lovely vivid pink one, came from my mother's garden. Great to hear your lucifer has found homes.

You should expect blooms on your Pulmonaria early next Spring,..beautiful small blooms in abundance,..i wonder if yours could be a Pulmonaria sissinghurset,..its a white,..that's the only other type i know but there are several more,..seeing your leaves differ to mine.
Its hard to believe but i gave away several Hydrangea early this year and found it hard to find a home for them,..Lace Hydrangea as well,..it was the Vets assistant who took them,..lets hope you have better luck with yours.
Have you taken cuttings of your Phlox?,..well worth extending your stock seeing it came from your Mothers garden.
