Delighted you received the seeds,.. ah yes i just read your PM and replied since,..those Hollyhock Seeds are of the Double Bloom type,..the bloom looks like Crepe Paper,..sow outdoors approx 2 weeks before the last frost as they like to get a blast of the cold.
Oh i remember your post in the Forum about your Heuchera and i think i sent you a link to the Google images of Heuchera,..the link below might help you.
You mentioned you would like to see an overview of my garden,..that stumped me,..the garden is managed in such a way that no matter what location one is standing in the garden the entire garden can not be seen so one has to go walkabout to view all,..in the past few minutes i did a rough sketch that might help you see what its like,..the green areas are where plants are.
Philip, I have that heucherella too and find it flowers for a much longer period than heucheras. Enjoy your holiday wherever you decide to go.
Hi Joyce,..its a lovely looking foliage and the blooms are almost white,..i never noticed the bloom time was longer but now that you have made me the wiser i looked at images of it and was surprised to see you are correct,..thanks for that info.
Oh holiday away was and is still great in the finding out where to go,..then when i almost decided i started thinking about Foxy Molly fretting,..she is very clingy,..that i suppose is due to the having being a house dog with her previous owner,..then the owner got Asthma and couldn't cope with Foxy Molly indoors so she was put outside,..she couldn't adjust so the owner put her up for re homing,..meanwhile while she waited in the rescue center she was attacked by a bigger dog and got 30 stitches around her neck,..that's when i took her on board and since then she sticks to me like glue.
@Nanny Beach ,..her head is like that of a Fox,..its the first comment i get when i meet someone when out walking,..yes she has fully recovered now but heaven knows what the frame of mind is,..seems fine apart from not wanting to be left alone.
Fleabane erigeron 'White Quakeress',..really showing its blooms late in the evening.
I put a few rose cuttings in, hopefully they might take in Spring. Beechgrove did a thing about root cuttings with Phlox in October. What do you think, as you did yours in August Philip?
