Thank you for this lovely thread, Philip. I've only just found it, and explored your lovely photos. I'm looking forward to following it next year. Happy Christmas!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Thank you @Fran IOM,..@Liriodendron,..@Purplerain,..and thank you @Liriodendron for your nice comments,..delighted you enjoyed the Thread and looking forward to keeping things as nice next season for you and everyone.
Philip.
Two images captured in the last 9 days,..both No Id roses.
@Liriodendron,..oh do have a go at cuttings as they are so easy and in no time you will have lots of rose bushes,..some will resemble the parent rose,..others will have a change,..roses from seeds take a lot longer approx 16 weeks from seed and that is in a Fridge on a moist kitchen towel within a plastic bag plus being treated.
You could also be lucky enough to find that a rose hip which fell to the ground in Autumn and lay there until Spring had produced a green bud,..plant it in a pot as you would with a seedling leaving the green bud exposed.
@nultyphilip224 - my Rosa glauca seeds itself around the garden, so I already have a baby growing on. However, I'd love to propagate a couple of my other roses, by cuttings, I think. Lovely to give the new plants as presents... not much room in my current garden!

Happy Christmas Philip,a lovely card. I'm finally updated with a new device, and am learning to take pics! Not before time.😊
Thank you and congrats on a NEW device,..takes a while to get used to something new so be patient,..sooooo i will be looking forward to seeing some awesome images captured next season,..sooner if you see some wildlife.

Rosa Glauca,..that's a rose i have not come across for years and its being around a very long time,..i had connections with three Victorian Estates and one had Rosa Glauca,..i thought wrongly that it was a native wild rose and got a telling off,..oh yes cuttings when turned into rose bushes are a great present,..you will be popular.
Floods,..to the right of the middle there is a small white dot,..that is the little bridge i cross with Foxy Molly,..this area being so flat floods every year so i have to walk the dog on the opposite side,..its higher.
