  • Rose  ( Rosa 'Sunsprite' )

    Chinese Lanterns,..full colour at last.

    Digitalis 'Foxglove'.

    Dahlia Scarlet/Yellow.

  • Sunsprite is absolutely beautiful,a lovely one to make into a watercolour.
My one and only Red Climber is flowering like mad still,I wish I had a bit more room for another, perhaps next spring I could put another arch over the path! At least you then have an excuse for four corners to be planted!!

Its a beautiful rose though one suffers the huge amount of thorns it has,..who would guess that tomorrow starts our Autumn with the amount of roses in bloom,..yours included,..ah yes we all wish for more room :) i would get rid of something to make room for a rose bush,..that's just me.

A promise of lots of rose blooms,..in the next few days.

Thanks Joyce,..i had so many blooms in July i had to make a Part 1 and art 2,..not complaining as we might get the same weather next year.

I have always had the white Sweet Alyssum and it was only in the past two years i discovered the Purple Sweet Alyssum,..i must grow the two beside each other to see the contrast.

Philip............ hope your garden survived the stormy weather.
  • My Chilean Lantern Tree should be well past its Lantern Bloom time but this week there are some appearing,..at the same time as the Chinese Lantern Plant,..the Chinese Lantern on the right below.

    Heucherella 'Sweet Tea',..Nasturtium and Hebe's.

A new rose bush in bloom,..its first bloom ever just now,..this was a cutting taken last year in Autumn.
I planted it in the small front garden under my bathroom window.

The VERY small front garden,..rose bush is on the right.

Hi Mary,..it hardly touched my garden,..i guess the wind was from the wrong direction to harm me,..not even rose petals were blown off,..just lucky,..hope you were not hit hard as there were winds up to 100 mph in places.

    Clematis 'Freckles',..in bloom now.

  • Absolutely agree @Joyce21.   So stunning!
