Went to the plot yesterday bramble pruning bought some spud from allotment shop for plot - today bit of pruning and did some digging of a bed also fed the birds
One plot holder can't have her chickens any more because of no food one day when it got looked at and she got a letter from council - informed by site rep so now getting rid of shed she is well peed off

Went to plot for a couple of hours this morning. Tidied the rockery, was going to replace the fence there but discovered a water pipe under the rocks so I put the rocks back. Need to think about what to plant between the stones.

We aren't allowed live stock, Gg, but what a shame for the chicks not having any food.

Put manure on the beds in number 1 GH. I think it will rot down eventually but won't be pulled down by worms, as I've never seen a worm in there. I've replaced some of the soil and plan to save two darleks just for compost for the GH this year.

    Dafs are up and flowering:)

no one new will be allowed chickens any more - new in from this year rent unless got a permission form signed - like I did, you get a warning then a letter chucking them off welfare issue
She only had a warning a year ago then changed rules should really of giving her another warning first - think they only ran out of food day before and she went up later in day when they had already checked in morning the chickens
she has had them for years - ever since I have been there
Zoomer that sound good idea shame about water pipe - maybe some alpines

GWRS. I'm thinking of developing the top of the plot with a seated sheltered area and moving the compost bays.

Having some  perennial flowers around the boundary would be nice too, and I still need to do some digging.

Couple of hours at plot this afternoon
More cement around 3 posts that I repaired and cleared a bed of last years crop , one more bed to clear
Hoping to get up there tomorrow afternoon

I would like a sheltered seating area but not sure where to put it or how to do it , something to think about
