Went to plot today bit of weed spraying in car park as no one seems to cut the grass and some don't like to park on it as car low down and very uneven ground, so bark chipping will be done when grass gone - will see how well I sprayed it in a few weeks small bit of wind today - me spraying low to grass anyway but bottle ran out a bit near end of marking area
Bit of digging of plot where I will be planting out verbena B plantlets - grown from seed lasst year and digging to level middle of plot, some broad beans in flower now from November sown, pear tree getting there nearly going to flower will look so pretty - community garden tomorrow and we are getting a skip to fill up - empty container as much as possible

    GWRS, enjoy your jollies.

Gg. Planted out the Jerusalem Artichokes today. 3 rows of 7.

If the weather is good over the weekend the plan is to plant up some spuds. I've not as many this year so am going to grow them in bags.

Went to plot today did a lot of digging and leveling off of soil and then had a bonfire, pretty hot today been getting the free seeds from Daily mail newspaper, also been re doing my squirrel feeders cleaning off paint on metal and spraying a nice green metal paint so will be less rust and more nicer - squirrels have no feeders at min till get them finished and put back up
Zoomer that is great lots of rows - did not count how many artichokes I sent you

Morecambe won 1-0. It was a good match.

I've been busy potting up. Planted out more peas and spinach over the weekend. Was going to plant out first spuds but there is a drop in temp expected this week.

GWRS-a friends mother-in-law has a season ticket for Man City and has been a fan for years, since before there has a premier league and said she would try to get us tickets.

Now I'm not a football fan and didn't realise how well they were doing, not sure if she'll be able to get us home match tickets before the end of the season or if we can travel on the coach but the plan is to try to get tickets for a home match.
