Busy time of year, been sowing seeds and potting up. Runner and french beans have germinated in the GH. Was going to sow another batch of broad beans were they will grow.

I like gladioli, they make nice cut flowers.

I've started to get a new magazine, received some free seeds with the first edition, the kale looks interesting it's a scarlet/purple colour. Does anyone else get a regular magazine...

I've sown courgettes and pumpkin in the propagator, might have sown them too soon as I don't have much room indoors to keep them until last frost. Also sown mini pop in the GH.

Is anyone growing asparagus, not a sign of mine yet, this is the first year to pick so looking forward to picking it.

Cherry and pear tree's are beginning to flower, last year they were caught with a late frost and did not produce one cherry or pear :(

Hi all got my first allotment this year in January doing really well clearing beds etc. I have planted lots of seeds and despite a few issues with damping off have done well with most but exception is beetroot which will not germinate. Any tips??
