It's been a busy weekend so haven't been to the plot. Did some potting up at home and plan to sow more seeds.
Went on Friday and started planting up in GH's.
It's good to see the beds filling up, I've still slot to plant out....mini pop, courgettes, pumpkin, leeks and more chard.

I emailed and checked about inspection and my plot was fine so I passed inspection

Yesterday spring fayre and we had a table for the train station information and we sold plants that I grew - got £28 going to go to maybe change the shipping container as has holes in roof for a large shed - so will be a lot of saving up, watched the birds of pray while there and a big steam engine turned up old fashioned one

Today got to plot lots of trips to tap with watering can also got a bale of straw for allotment shop which I shared with plot neighbour half each so I was sawing that up now straw under strawberries and around apple tree to help keep weeds away - still lots left of mine - plot neighbours will use the staw for the chickens also gave us some eggs

Think I will buy celeriac plants liked the taste of the cake I made

Hello all , sounds like we are all busy
Nearly caught with garden/allotment after hols , excellent weather has helped
stuff from g/h planted up runners , French beans , out door cucumber 🥒 , toms etc to many to list
Only disaster broccoli 🥦, will by some plants

Gardengirl , glad inspection went well , lots of new people on plot , I think only half plot still empty , spring fare sounds good , particularly Steam Engine

Gg..If you can collect water it cuts down on trips to the tap, I collect it running off the shed and GH but bins placed around the plot collect a lot.As I have a bad back it reduces carrying anything to heavy.

I received the application for the Great Eccleston Show today. It's not easy deciding what to enter when nothing apart from rubarb is ready.

Has anyone planted out courgettes and pumpkin yet....mine are hardened off but still in pots...

Meant to say , water butts at allotment nearly empty , had to do lots of watering this month
However , do have 3 water cube one each end and one in middle , cost £3 to fill up so price ok
