    Hope you recover soon, Gg.

I've tried to be more on the ball with potting up this year and also sown a lot more stuff in the GH. Just aubergines, peppers, chillies and a few more toms to take to the plot.

Went to the plot early on account it was really hot yesterday.
Planted out peas, beans swede, beetroot, Brussels and more lettuce.
Planted normal leeks in a nursery bed, the mammoth leeks are still in pots but already the thickness of spring onions, ever so pleased with them.
Was thinking of putting news paper down with home made compost on top round the fruit bushes to keep down weeds, do you guys think that will keep them at bay...

Zoomer , I put bark chippings around new fruit trees and raspberry beds and it has worked well , used Asda’s 3 for £10 , 70 litre bags  B)

GWRS, my raspberry bed has got away with itself and is coming up in other beds. The neighbours raspberry canes grow under the fence. That could be a project for next yr, trying to confine them to one bed.
