I've a small area still covered with plastic and throw all the periennial weeds on there to dry out.

I started to plant out my leeks yesterday. I've two batches one are mammoth leeks.

Long day at plot , moved 2 compost bins as horse tail was growing through it and could only use compost where existing  horse tail grows
Also moved a new water butt to bottom shed , tomorrow will attach it to existing butt

Weeded rasberry beds plus a few other jobs done

O/h havested a few bits and our first tray of Strawberries 🍓
    Still filling in Diary
hope alls well with everybody  :)

GWRS. Horse tail and bind weed grow on my plot both difficult to get rid of.

I try to get to the plot after work during the week, now that days are longer. It's a lot cooler too.

Potted up cues and pumpkin seedlings today. Still no strawberries but lots of asparagus, lettuce and broad beans.

Beetroot, swede and onions can probably be harvest but they are still quite small.

    Happy growing everyone.

Put a row of spinach in and 2 rows of Kale
Pulled some Garlic up and put to dry
Some body gave us some pumpkin 🎃 plants so put 5 in
Overcast but warm ideal weather , currently glorious sun shine

Went to the plot this evening to water and did some weeding.

Think I'll have a leisurely day tomorrow harvesting veg for the week.

Gardengirl, hope the stings heal soon , take care

Yesterday at plot moved old table that I was going to use and a huge Hornet 🐝 came out , as big as my little finger and there was what looked like a nest , fortunately it was at end of day , so left it , O/H took picture on phone so we could ID it
Hope it has gone when we next go up to plot
