Haven't posted for a while, been catching up with posts.....is everyone having a  good growing season? I seem to have done well all round, the birds have also had a feast still have lots of currants and gooseberries to pick, fruit has certainly been a winner.

Well done GWRS, I entered the Great Eccleston Show again, got a coupe of firsts for cooking and some seconds and a 3rd for fruit and veg. I won the disaster section too..LOL with a misshaped turnip.

    Happy growing everyone...

Hello , well nice weather just keeps coming
Been to Allotment this afternoon and burnt a load of prunings
Started to pick pears 🍐 from trees planted last year doing much better than apple 🍏 trees that have been in for years
Decided to get rid of a plum tree that I planted when first got plot , never had more than 2 plums , this year again none ! I did warn it !
Hope you are all keeping well  B)

Lost my 2 pears on tree in pot because of storm weather and tree new this year

At allotment plot beans fell over really bad windy weather (storm even though not named) with rain on weekend - lots of beans went over on peoples plots,
my cane broke on one - just about stood up, pumpkin growing well

Allotment show tomorrow so making flower arrangement to enter
