The spuds will clean the soil of any long tap weeds like bind weed, couch grass. that’s how we cleaned ours. Get right down to the roots without breaking the couch grass or it grows more.

The next delivery of manure leave it in a mound under plastic sheet where it will sweat and the worms will love it. When it’s steamy it’s ready to use.

we also put some manure in a cloth attached to a stick, hold it over a bucket for rainfall which will make liquid manure...drip, drip liquid gold..😂

Been to allotment planting out flowers, Put paving slabs down the other day for my little shed, lots of watering have had to take garden hose to plot for watering late night tonight - did that last week and got bitten by mosquitos - does someone on here use cream to stop the bugs?

Station open day went well raised £50 towards a new shed lots more needed

I don't use cream but tend to add garlic to a lot of my cooking, and think because of that tend not to get bitten.

It's been to hot to do much on the plot, mainly watering, must get down to do some weeding over the weekend.....
