I'll know soon enough when the poison stops being eaten. Hoping to go to plot in next couple of days to check.

After my fence blew away I decided to plant a hedge, it's still quite small.

Zoomer look at orka in marshalls catalogue has symbol for greenhouse - more for gh and also can be grown outside prob where hot and sunny

Went to plot today did some strimming, and more digging of sheeting under ground found lots of rubbish maybe even lino which broke up a lot found out it says reinforced scaffold sheeting so far hole a good spade and a half deep and about a metre wide and still under ground so will take a while to get out, fed the birds and watched the blue tit going into the bird box alot with horse hair I think going to have a really soft nest

Yesterday went planted the plum and apple tree Woolston station garden and small bit of tidying up.  Today moved some oxeye daisy plants to a different border as self-seeded alot so will have the area for wild flower seeds to sow from grow wild - we were waiting for a person to come to look at the old shipping container to get a take away price did not come in end gave us a price on phone - off of the photos sent so at least we did something while waiting - so will let main man know hope to get rid of it and get a shed in stead one that does not leak

Thought I'd grow a row of okra at the back of the GH with chillies in front to make maximum use of the space. Okra likes heat and probably wouldn't do to well outside this far north.

I'm growing a few firsts this year. I've also seakale. the packet say's to sow early spring, Would you guys say this is early spring?  Was thinking they can be started off on a radiator on kitchen roll.

Went to the plot today. The poison had all gone in the GH and shed but all the dwarf peas had been snapped at soil level. Don't know how that happened as the plastic propagator cover was still on! All the other seedlings seemed ok, I've sown more peas at home.

Gg. Just checked  line and it can take up to 12mths for seakale seeds to germinate with a low germination rate of 1 in 10 seeds, that surely can't be correct!

Your plum tree is early to flower, what lovely blooms.

GWRS - not sure what you would use for as alternative use  -  we have been using it as a shed -hope to get a skip next week clear out a lot that we are not using - roof does leak as old felt ontop and bit mould on floor boards, is a great place to store some bits ended up with or tea break in there last time we were all there - hoping we are putting in for a community grant and other grants to get a better shed
Going to do bit more strimming of paths outside plot today more digging
