It would be nice to imagine Mallory actually got there first - since they didn't find his photo  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Goodness you lot have been chatty.  Welcome Debi.  You're allowed a rant on this thread and opinions too when something pleases/surprises/angers/saddens us.

Morning spent at the dentist for me.  He's replacing metal fillings on the ground that they eventually make teeth crack and increase levels of dementia, Parkinsons and other degenerative diseases and the French reckon new fillings are cheaper than long term care.   Fine by me.  I only went cos I was getting shocks from one.  Haven't had a new filling ins over 30 years so this thorough going over is a bit of a shock to the Obxx system.

Treated myself to a new pair of sandals and 2 tops in a sale afterwards.  Felt much better.   PM was a raid on a  DIY store for solid beech work tops for the recucled kitchen cupboards we've put in the annex.   Much sanding and oiling for me while OH cut the grass.   Can't tell you how many jams and jellies and preserves I've moved in there now.

All this because tomorrow we get new PV panels and needed to move a dresser full of preserves to make a space for a new hot water tank .......  Sunny here but cooler than it's been so no sunbathing today.   Hope to get some gardening done tomorrow as it's set to stay fine for a few days.

Pdoc - slow is good.  Did they offer Prs P a pay rise or not?   Short-sighted not to look after good staff anyway.   Far more expensive to find and hire new than keep old ones happy.

LG - sounds very frustrating.  Hope you get it all sorted soon.

LP - sorry you've got a lurgy.  I always dreaded September as Possum would bring me a new set of colds and bugs from all the kids coming back to school with new infections.

DD - good to see you relaxing if only for a moment.  Hope all goes well for you for OG preps.  You too Busy.

Hi to everyone - too many to mention after catching up on 60 posts!

Bed for me soon so sweet dreams everyone.

I've had a stiff neck all day ☹️ So just been soaking in the bath until I was wrinkled, now deep heat spray and bed, night night all 😴💤💤

Been to the cinema with friends. Saw a great film, "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society". Then we went to Weatherspoons for a meal.
Has rained all afternoon, did the ironing, made up the guest bed.

We read it at book club a while back. I wonder if the film sticks to the book?
