Morning all. Just having a cuppa with Hubby and Big Sis. Thanks for the kind wishes. The sun is shining and it's looking good for a couple of days. Oh, I forgot to mention, today is the day I go to the "colorectal surgery" to see if they can shed any light on my " abdominal episodes".
I've tried to tell OH to delete his Paypal account but he thinks I'm scare-mongering. A couple of the ladies at patchwork have had bovver........
Gorgeous sunny day here so I've been out to take the lids off the tomatoes and water them and check on the babies. Not a lot going on in there except for 100% germination of spaghetti squash plants and 18 sweetcorn so far. No sign of any flowers except tow teeny California poppies and no chillies. Bit of Thai basil bit not cinnamon basil or garlic chives.
Pot moving sort of day for me to get the Japanese maples and hostas round to the shady terrace and then more blood orange and chili marmalade cos I'm on my last jar already.
Have a good time catching up with friends Chicky and Dove. Hope you get some news Hosta and not another puzzle.
Greetings to all yet to pop in. Hope you get the sunshine. It's been a long time coming.

Morning all. We are now in Norfolk, but I don't think the travelling was good for my sciatica. Had a terrible night. Rang the doc but fully booked today. They said ring early tomorrow. OH has to go to Norwich for an after cataract check and new glasses. Still not sure whether to go with him.
My rockery bank needs weeding, but can't at the moment. It looks pretty though, getting colourful.
Lovely and sunny.
I get those PayPal emails too. That's why I don't use PayPal, it worries me.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
It doesn't matter whether you have a Paypal account or not ... as I said I've never had one ... OH does have one ... I get the phishing emails ... he doesn't ... it's nothing to do with Paypal ...... just scammers and thieves trying it on.
Glad you arrived safely BL but sorry your sciatica is bad ... I used to get it but rarely do now (fingers crossed) after a very good (famous) physio who lived near me gave me some exercises to do ... if I get twinges a few days of the exercises sorts it out.
1. Stand with your back against a wall with your heels against the wall and try to push the small of your back so that it touches the wall while keeping your shoulders and btm touching the wall at the same time. Keep trying for a few minutes. Repeat twice a day.
2. Get on your hands and knees and arch your back like a cat as far as you can then hollow your back as much as you can. Repeat a few times and then do it twice daily.
Also do sideways flexes, sliding your hand down the outside of your leg towards your knee and raising the other one arm over your head (a la Eileen Fowler).

Just as well I needed to get something from the large freezer in the basement this morning........Water running from two drainage pipes. Could have been running since Thursday when I was last in the basement. Someone coming between 12 and 6pm to see the problem. Busy, I found that paracetamol and some whisky at bedtime relieved sciatica and allowed me to sleep.

That'd probably sort out most things Joyce.
