Planter made, washing dry, in sheltering from heat and I even put sunscreen on before I went out! Will take a picture of planter when I've had a cool bath and see what you all think of my handy work, hope everyone is having a lovely day 😊

Thanks Wonky. I’ve decided I’m never going to knit stripes ever again. Joining all those seams nearly drove me crazy. 😳

Pat that's really good, you must have some patients and plenty time, mine would be full of holes 😉.
got my shrubs trimmed yesterday while the sun was out, I'm now aching a little lol, just been to the garden centre and got a massive box of lawn feed and weed for £10, and also bought two Nemasias they smell gorgeous mmmm 🙂

Fairygirl I've grown my sweet peas from seed, here they are .....

Move had to put stakes there as we have a new cat in the area that thinks it can park it's bum all over my sweet peas 😜

Hurrumph!  Been sitting in traffic due to roadworks!!!  Then they didn't have the door handles we need but they said 'their store on the north of the city has them' but by the time we'd negotiated more roadworks and a diversion of course they didn't have them ... very kind assistant did his best to help but we've come home via a corner shop which it appears only sold sausage rolls and Magnums so that's what we're having for lunch ...

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

That's frustrating Dove! Earned an ice cream I reckon! I did a quick wiz round lidl and am now hiding indoors trying to decide if I'm going to bbq dinner.
Here is the planter anyway 😊

Cor Flumpy those sweet peas look healthy and much further on than mine, good luck defending them from the cat!
