Ours is still too wet. The lawn mower would sink in. I'm hoping three days of good weather will sort it.
Well to be honest I only cut the small lawn where I'd managed to give it a rough strim last week, so it dried out quicker, being shorter. It was a bit too wet really but I just couldn't stand it any longer - I can see it from the kitchen window. The bigger lawn is going to need more than 2 dry days in a row to get on it even with the strimmer.
Still it's a start. And I got the laundry dried outside, and I pulled the first spring rhubarb and I had my afternoon tea sitting outside for the first time this year. A good day

Our grass was cut two weeks ago and could do with a trim again but it was too squelchy today! Hoping next week's fine weather will dry it out a bit. Did some other bits and bobs, but mainly drank tea and enjoyed just sitting outside.
I’ve just woken and read back. I wonder if turning off power to the meter box would stop the alarm. I wouldn’t hesitate to do it. Lucky it’s off now though. we still have the terrible winds here. Some rain overnight which looked like sleet, but no sign of it this morning. I won’t becworking outside today as well. have a good sleep everyone.
