wise words. My theory is if I don't offer to " go out for the day" she'll be none the wiser. and, you're right, she's not seen the house since we first moved here. No carpets, curtains, wallpaper, garden, so I think she'll be happy drinking tea / wine.
Clearly, you're correct. That's how the footprints get there.

    Hi all.
Have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed GW last night. 1 hour episodes get me in the mood for doing stuff.
Loving the idea of abseiling dinosaurs, sure we should be able to prove that it actually happened.
We have a busy w/e planned, doing nothing other than trying to make some life decisions. At the moment head is in turmoil, so need a plan and need to stick to it.
Plenty of good food and wine is at the ready, to help in the process.
How can you lie there and think of England

These things take time. As my dear late Mother would have said " act in haste: repent at leisure"

    Happy Saturday all.
I actually fell asleep watching GW last night so might finish watching now, whilst I wait for the "sunny intervals and low chance of precipitation" to arrive.
Was catching up on the World News... but I'd rather not think too much about that and tend to my seedlings.
    Have a relaxing/productive/pleasant day all.

Our golfing pal is due to arrive soon.  He and OH have lots of catching up to do so, having spent some time this morning carting all the old table bases we could find down to the polytunnel for holding the growing number of seed trays I shall carry on getting mucky for a while with either sowing, mowing or pressure washing.

Have to do the latter so I can reduce the embarrassing number of pots sheltering in front of the annex and make some look like a mini woodland glade on the shady terrace.  That's the plan anyway.  Whether it comes off in reality is anyone's guess.

Good food and wine should help the thought process Pdoc.  Not easy even so.   Hugs.

I love the acrobatic dinosaur image.

Lovely day here now, I have been repotting my sweet pea seedlings after good advice in another thread

Punk how about a glass of something nice and a  2 pieces of paper and pen, you each write pros then swap over and wire the cons It’s amazing how helpful this can be! Good luck
