@Pauline 7 ... when I had a garden of a similar size to Hosta's I kept horses, goats, sheep, bullocks, poultry and pigs ... you can take the girl out of the farm but you can't take the farm out of the girl ... now I have a small garden and struggle against a constant urge to keep chickens But Hosta's garden is in a truly lovely spot ... a fantastic view and a bit of a special place (Pretty special people too , but don't let them hear me say that )

It's always been my dream to live in the middle of nowhere. A bit unsocial, but that's me. Good job OH is the same. It will always be a dream alas .........unless my numbers come up trumps.
@punkdoc will tell you that Brancaster is one of the most special bits of the whole UK coast ... the view from that house will be phenomenal and the opportunities to see huge flocks of waders coming to overwinter on the mudflats in front of the house (right on the edge of the RSPB reserve at Cley) not to mention the large colony of seals, plus good sailing from Brancaster Staithe will see that house sell for that money and some more I'll bet. I think it'd go for that money whatever the house was like. As for the farm ... I go past it often on the way to the coast ... not a spot I'd choose.

That house isn't for me either. It's got all sort of bit bolted on all over it. For that money I'd at least want a house which was pretty, that's not. IMHO.
