Evening all. I’m glad Papa W is ok Dove. Scary stuff. How’s your weather? The bedroom is still cold, so I’m reluctant to emerge, but needs must. Fairy, your energy is amazing. I can barely handle our hills.
Late yesterday, we looked out of the window and saw next door’s goats ( including the one that left us for her herd) were having a lovely go in our orchard. Hubby was on the phone (fire brigade stuff again), so I rushed down and closed three gates to stop them going any further into our place, them started up the hill to them. They rushed out of the one gate I hadn’t got to, which they’d come through, and started clearing a path back up to where they got under the fence. Humph!   Well they obligingly went back through and showed us the hole in the fence. A big hole this time. By this time, out of breath and gasping I just waited there until Hubby arrived in the Ute. Luckily he has strong arms. He moved lots of large rocks back onto the fence wire and blocked the hole. When I rang Mrs next door and told her, she said there had been a very large kangaroo sun baking in that area recently, so I guess we know who broke the bottom wire and pushed the mesh up. 😡
And to top it off yesterday, the phone rang about 9.30 pm and it was Regina wondering if it was ok to come around for a visit. I was nodding off in front of another episode of the Voice. My reaction - she’s joking! He put her off until today.
I must admit I really like Wil I Am and Tom. Can’t stand the female.
Its all go, go, go in our retirement here. 🙄

Hello Pat  :) do you want any rain? We've got more than enough. :|
I must prick out the tomatoes but it's going to be persisting down for the next few days. I think I'd better spread a plastic sheet on the dining table and do it all on there!
Goats eh?!  If there's an escape route they'll find it ... but I do love goats.  :)

Morning people - hi Pat. That's enough exercise for you for a few days !  ;)
Does your visitor never realise she's a right royal pain in the butt? That would do my head in....
You can keep all the rain for now Dove - we get plenty and it's always good to share!  Slight frost here overnight as it got light but cloudy now and getting to 2 degrees. I've been awake for ages drinking tea and watching Episodes. Brilliant.
Might get some more sweet pea sowing done if it stays dry.
I'll hae a look round here while I consume more tea....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Hello everyone. :)
I don't know if it was a coincidence or not but after all those spam posts last night I had an advert come up for tinned spam this morning. :D
Hope you all have a good day, I will be working today and tomorrow. Dish pan hands here I come.

Morning Fairy  :). I've been asleep since 9pm!  I drifted off as GW was talking to the Flying Gardeners in Milan and OH sent me to bed so I didn't crick my neck by sleeping on the sofa.

    Morning all.

Dove, I love goats too. We had a herd of Angoras here for some years. I’ve still got fleece waiting for me to get the spinning wheel whizzing. Too many other things to do such as Ukelele practice which I haven’t done all week, gardening. House work, painting, card producing, volunteering at the gallery, loading firewood onto the trailer. (And chasing playful goats). Where do I end? Good fun though.

Fairy, I’m convinced our “Friend” is OCD or something similar. She seems totally unaware. I’ve got into the habit of playing jigsaws on my iPad while she is here chatting loadly to Hubby. I don’t think it has sunk in. 🙄

    have a good day all.

Oh, and yes send some rain over please Dove. We’ve had none, as usual. I think Glenys might have got some in SA though - according to the TV news.

    Morning all.
You seem to have got away lightly FG. It' pure hard white frost here this morning but at least the sun's out.
Pat you really do live the Aussie dream.  :D Macho men and giant kangaroos and wandering goats. It sounds really funny but I know it's just day to day for you. I love goats too. I'd love one but my place isn't suitable I'm afraid. Too wet and nothing to browse.
I'm glad to hear WW's dad's ok. I hate that feeling of "out of control" through no fault of your own. I was rear ended twice exactly 4 weeks apart and I found myself obsessed with my rear view mirror for months after. One chap was trundling towards me as we tootled along in traffic and I swear if he'd hit me I'd have got out and decked him! He wasn't to know he'd be the third in six weeks!!!
Might hit a car boot (see what I did there???) later but if the sun stays out I might do some potting on instead.
If my HA seedlings were frozen solid yesterday morning does that mean they've had it??? I brought them in last night ...stable door bolted....
    Enjoy your Saturday.
