Try 30+ for several weeks, Dove. Apparently we’ve broken some records this year.

It certainly didn’t suit me Dove. I hated our last summer.
At last, with it cooling down, I can get out there and potter. Makes me feel content to be in my garden.

Morning all 😀. Late on parade, but I had a train 🚂 to catch ....which I am now sitting on.  London day, but meeting up with an old colleague for lunch, so that will be nice 🍽☕️🍴

Last night was great - won’t leave it six months next time.

Think Big Sis should visit regularly Hosta, if she always brings weather like this ☀️☀️☀️  I’m even in my summer coat 🧥

    Hi all.

glorious sunny day, I shall be pottering at snail like pace, but things will get done.

Morning Punkdoc . Nice to see you. .....Did you get round to getting one of those camping mats for your gardening.? Another thing I use is a cushion from an old sofa,  lovely and comfortable to sit on. I have put the inside of the cushion in a large bin bag then put the cover back on. ....waterproof and washable.

Morning all. Another glorious day here - 27° apparently. That would normally be a bit warm for me but I'm thoroughly enjoying it at the moment and loving the speed with which the garden is catching up - you can almost see everything growing :).

Sorry for the brief dash in yesterday - SIL is getting desperate. Turns out it's hip or knee, not just hip, if anyone knows anyone.

Fairy it's very good to see you back but your fall sounds really scary. Sorry it's taking so long to recover. Welcome back. Don't suppose you saw Clari while you were out there did you?

Punkdoc, glad you've come to a decision. Hopefully you'll feel more settled with it now. Onwards and upwards, and all that.

Yesterday was a good day. The mock exam was difficult but hey, it's a mock. I'll do better next time. Also got my real exam results from February  so very happy. The day was boiling and I was overdressed for college, but went out to Bow's concert last night in a shirt, linen trousers and sandals and even coming back at 11pm was balmy - what a change! Gianni Schicchi was fab, very funny and engaging and we are all still humming the theme and the aria (O mio babbino caro). Looking forward to the reviews.

BL I hope the drugs / exercises / time help your pains to ease so you can enjoy Norfolk. Joyce, did your leak get fixed? LP and Hosta, have a good day with family.

And Liri, what a marvellous looking instrument that is! You're going to have a lot of fun with it, I'm sure. See you all later.

    Morning all.
I didn't bother to say hi earlier when I was up from 1- 3.30 grrr.
We're not as hot as "up country" but at least the wind from yesterday has gone. We're heading down the coast for a wee run ( hurl ) in the car. Sea mist forecast but it'll be fine.
I managed 2 hours of grass cutting whilst  the others were siestaing yesterday.
    Devon.

Now I know why I woke at just after 1am this morning ... someone (mentioning no names) must've been being very noisy indeed :open_mouth:
