Hooray - I spent the day weeding, and now feel much better 😇. Only need about another 20 sessions like that and I’ll be ready for spring. Think I might need to start springing into action when I get home from work, to try and make some more progress.
Carrot cake in the oven (home grown carrots that Mr C had forgotten about - he dug them up today- I tested one first and it was 😋). Family arriving en masse tomorrow.
Chicklet messaged this morning with pics of the faces she had made her friends draw on their dippy eggs this morning .....keeping the family tradition alive
Evening all. I've not been here much, quick in and out visits mainly, so no chance to really catch up - you've all been very chatty. Must be the rain keeping you all inside and online .
In between showers and social events I've managed to get quite a lot of gardening jobs done in the past week and have enjoyed it very much. Still tons to do . I've got another mock exam in two weeks so should really do some revision, especially as this exam is a bit difficult to get a handle on (ie: I can't really think how the subject can be examined so I need to look at lots of past papers)... but I want to be out there, gardening, not revising about gardening! Will hopefully get the results from the previous exams at some point soonish. Not sure if that will be encouraging or not.
I hope everyone has had a good Easter weekend and that rain / cold / snow hasn't completely stopped play.
Good morning all its a lovely feeling isn't it Logan ... yesterday I was looking at the native primroses that are colonising the Little Wilderness ... they're all descended from the ones I grew from seed
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all. Freezing here so far but maybe that's because I'm not moving very fast. (I've done me back!!). I planted primrose seeds but so far no sign of anything. Same with my bluebells. Time yet I suppose. I've split some primroses that I found under a huuuge Gunnera so they can go in Dingly Dell which is woodlandy and should suit them well. We ('Imself) planted some birch trees yesterday with more to come so I'm looking for shrubs to underplant them and to make yet another area lowish maintenance. Stay warm and enjoy your Easter Monday.

PS If you fancy visiting Chelsea Physic Garden this summer with a few forumites, do look at the thread and add your available dates to the Doodle poll. Here's a link: https://forum.gardenersworld.com/discussion/1010520/chelsea-physic-garden-garden-museum-anyone
Won't be able to do any Gardening it's raining again. Planted some polyanthus yesterday that I grew myself.
