Hosta ... that's just crazy ... and dangerous! Maybe she should tell them she'll sue if she has a bad reaction ... they've been informed and have a duty of care ....
Methinks they'd just ban her from the plane. It's a 7 hour flight to Miami then another 2 to Cancun and they've offered her "fruit"
This nut allergy problem was discussed on a recent holiday consumer affairs programme. No legal requirement on airlines to ensure stuff is nut free. One child so allergic she couldn't get on a plane where even one packet of nuts was opened as the dust gets in the airco. Some - a very few - airlines will refrain from offering the free packets of nuts given on short haul if asked well in advance but others leave it to cabin crew to decide at the last minute. I suspect they'll need a death and huge financial penalties before they change their ways.
Actually popped in to ask how long it takes for achillea seeds to pop. Sowed mine days ago and no signs of life. 8 out of 10 spaghetti squash, 1 of 3 Zephyr courgettes, 20 out of 25 sweetcorn, a bit of Tuscan salad, Thai basil and quite a lot of radicchio but only 2 Cailofornia poppies and one eryngium, one catanache and one monarda. Getting impatient.

@LG, yes thanks. Leak fixed and the blockage, causing the water to seep in, has been cleared. @Hosta, it's ages since I heard "hurl" being used. I have been for a hurl down to Girvan this morning.
Leg is heaps better this morning! Maybe it's Dove's exercises! The painkiller was codeine and aspirin from the pharmacy, don't know if it's that or being on holiday or if it was getting better anyway. I slept, woke once for a painkiller and the loo. Such a relief. I have rung the doc several times, always engaged.
I have been taking Turmeric for 2 months now, so has OH, but neither of us has noticed any difference.
Going to the sea today, Hunstanton. Haven't been there yet and forecast is a sunny 24°. OH is taking swimming trunks! The sea will be freezing, bet he only goes up to his ankles.
Obelixx, none of my eryngiums germinated last year. Never tried achillea. Californian poppies were good.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
There is a bench dedicated to my Grandparents on the seafront road. If the tide is out Mr Lizzie might have to venture several miles before his ankles get submerged 😜

Obs, my daughter isn't that bad, she actually has to ingest them,( cashews and pistachios are worst for her ) but some are much worse as you say.
