Have a roaring fire going, it's really cold here and absolutely throwing it down.  No chance of any gardening at all.
I was flippin' cold ... got layers on and still cold so I've put the heating on ... at least it'll dry the washing ... I've had to wash my Purple Dressing gown ... spilled my first coffee down the front  :/

Not until after April 23rd. Apparently a death planet Nibiru is going to appear and the end of the world is nigh.

On the other hand, if you put it on your credit card and we all die, you won't have to pay for it.

I shall carry on regardless.  Only thing to do in the face of idiots.

Cleaning all morning and getting a bed ready for an old friend who's staying over on Saturday.  He's retiring his old Land Rover to his cottage in Scotland (near a golf course) but is first taking it on a tour of Spain and France to see old friends from the golf club in Belgium.  Nice Irish chap with a wry sense of humour who's spent the last 20 years or so working in the EU Commission for the environment and yet has kept his sanity.

Weekly shop all done and stashed so now to potter quietly till it's time to go to dance class.   Dry here all day and we got up to a giddy 18C.  Soon be t-shirt weather!   Weeding for me tomorrow and seed sowing.

I could never get Nigella/Love-in-a-Mist/Persian Jewels t grow in Belgium but love it so am trying it here.  Best to sow in cells, trays or direct?

I sowed it direct in the veg garden 11 years ago for flowers for daughter's wedding. It's been coming up ever since.

You gave me a horrid shock, Punkdoc, I thought you meant your end - or did you? Or do you mean Trump and Putin, or those planets?
