Oh dear, Yvie... that's a shame!
You can quite often buy second hand wheelchairs.  There are a lot listed on Gumtree... if you didn't mind the idea of one which had been "pre-loved", you might manage to get a lightweight one, and could get it measured to make sure it would fit through your doorway, perhaps?
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Hope he's ok ...

To bed now ... a bit subdued as have been watching news footage of the assassination of Dr Martin Luther King ... I remember the impact it had on me as a teenager fifty years ago ...
    Night night all ((hugs))

    Hi all.
Had a rather stressful day, sadly some of my treatment has started to cause other problems, and now I am faced with some rather difficult decisions, which I have to make myself, rather than the medics being to able to make for me.
I really need to spend some time outside amongst my plants.

Sorry I missed your birthday WW, hope you are able to celebrate properly at the w/e, with lots of good music.

    Morning all.
Skin a fairy hereabouts on this bright, sunny, frosty morning  :s  but it is to get warm and cloudy later.
My stand of Birch trees has taken a hit as the holes filled up with water. Quelle surprise!
Plan B is Viburnum opus so fingers crossed that they don't drown. I've been reading on another thread about mounding them up so it might come to that.
Another coffee required I think, and a read about.
    Enjoy your Thursday.

Morning all, sorry about that @punkdoc
Hope things go well for you,

Sunny intervals today, going to mulch the roses, but first put the washing out.
Have a good day all. :)

Morning, stunning day, blue skies against the snow but still-2. Not much we can do with the snow still lying. Plant pauper I love your description of how cold it is, never heard it before. Out Fairy might object tho.  By the way where is Fairy?
Punk our family has had to do a lot of deep thinking recently. We decided to follow our instinct. Instincts are rarely wrong. Good luck. We are a strong group and will always support you. Best wishes to Mrs P

I woke to blue skies and a big yellow thing in the sky. The lawns are very soggy even though they are on a slope. My seedlings in the greenhouse will appreciate it. Cosmos, sweet pea, statice, and stocks are up. Out of all the dahlias, I have one with a shoot on it so far.  I have a new (old) shredder. Later version of the one that disintegrated on me last week. Cost me £15, but I had to fetch it from 2 miles away.   Bargain. New blades cost more than that.
