Sorry about Hubby's friend Chicky. Too young. We watched Michael Portillo on a train from Jodhpur to Dehli on iPlayer. Brought back wonderful memories of trips we made on Indian trains and some of the fantastic sights we saw too. 1,000 year old step well.
That's terrible about your husband's colleague, Chicky. I hope his family have a good support network
Those are tiny pumpkins, Pat - are they purely decorative? I can't imagine there'd be much to eat.
Sounds like your dog is helping a lot of people, LilyP. I've heard amazing things about the impact of reading with dogs.
And oh my goodness, Hosta, that place looks extraordinary! What is its name?
Cloudier today but going to be warm, apparently. I'm aiming to tackle some more of my garden list - mainly potting up and potting on. Looking forward to it.

Morning all. Parky here today again and only yesterday I was out in me Summer gay wear!!! If I de-sieze (back still a bit dodgy) I'll go and pot on some geraniums for various arts and parts of the garden. The labels have worn away/blown away/disappeared so who knows how that'll go. I still have some annuals to sort out for my baskets (sorry HF but I missed them last year) and then order some viburnum to plant up where the trees were going to be...but aren't now Nothing's ever simple! Enjoy your Friday. ps Waves to Clari and FG if you get a chance to look in.
LG I planted mini pumpkins a few years ago, forget how I got the seeds, and don’t remember how we cooked them, but this summer they appeared in the compost. I’m thinking I might stuff them with something and bake them. Maybe a bacon type mixture.
