We had a very early dinner this afternoon (4.45) because Hubby was scratching his head trying to think about the left over leg of roast lamb when a light bulb went off and he started scrambling in the ‘frig. Not long afterwards we had fritters with Lamb, asparagus, tomato, and peeled broad beans. Yum! Very satisfying in a rather cool house.
Not likely Flumpy. I’ll be snuggled up under a knitted rug in the house. I’m fairly confident that the last of the tomatoes, zucchini’s and cucumbers will see their last tonight. It’s no use trying to cover them. The wind would whip the covers off in no time. Never mind, I’ve had a very productive summer, so shouldn’t complain if the season is suddenly shortened.
Morning all ,again. I got back to sleep around 5am. On the plus side , I managed a chat with daughter in Bolivia. She's there for about a fortnight then off to Mexico where her sister will be and they're having a week together then flying home. Suddenly it seems here trip has gone rather quickly. 65 million year old dinosaur footprints:

Impressive they survived. Apparently there are 12,000 footprints, now vertical on the wall of a quarry.
