Oooh BL ... tell OH to enjoy himself ......... I loved singing Fauré's Requiem (a long time ago now).
Dacha ... good to see you ... hope you're feeling better now ...... are you sure you need to get rid of the bigger clothes ....... are you positive you won't need them again?  ;)

Compost raid achieved.  BOGOF day so 10 x 70l which fit nicely in the back of Harry plus some oak leaf and Cos lettuce plugs and some Savoy cabbage to get me started while I wait for seeds to grow and some flat leaf parsley to prick out in a window box for the kitchen.   No pelargoniums.  They only had uprights and I like trailers too.

Cake sounds good Busy and Riberac is a good place to do a concert.  Met my first "géziers" in the restaurant de la Poste in 1991 when OH ordered them for starters.  Not for me.

LG - I hope the offspring arrive safely.   Chicky - a huge shock for that family.  Dreadful thing to have to deal with.

Pdoc - take your time and enjoy the flowers along the way as you contemplate.

DL - glad you're back from being AWOL.   Better now?   If you keep eating Dove's treats you'll need those trousers again so hand on to them just in case.

Hosta - I too saw those on MP's rail trip.  Would love to go to India one day but not till Possum is independent.  2 more years of study after this one and irregular hours for a Masters means she can't get a student job - so she says.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

    Hi folks,
Feeling awful today, had some bad news re a court case we are involved in.  Believe me it doesn't pay to stand up for yourself, even when you are morally in the right, you may as well just give in to the system.

No sign of the Yodel man.

Hugs to Pdoc, Chicky and Dacha.

Had a delivery of plants this morning from SRaven.  Should really pot them on.  Have been out and opened up the greenhouse and cold frame.  It's really sunny but there's a cold wind.  Don't think I'll be doing anything out there today.

    Afternoon all.
Nice to have you back on board Dacha.
I seized the opportunity , ( dry and sunny and breezy ) and cut what was left of the grass which I didn't manage last time. Standing water prevented me getting it all done, but it's a lot better than it was at the same time last year.
Obs, India is a fabulous country, full of contrasts. You can always spend the time planning??
I can't decide if the spits and spots are going to develop into something more meaty or not. Weeding V polytunnel? I'll have a cuppa whilst I think about it.
No heatwave here, 11C is as much as we can hope for.

@Pauline, it's 7.6 acres, but about half of that is young woodland and 0.8acre is a small lake.

I would love a garden that size with the house in the middle. .....no neighbours.  But I couldn't manage the upkeep of it and definitely couldn't afford it.  So can only dream.

I've been good and taxed the car  o:)  'Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof...' now I shall watch the Commonwealth Games and knit until it's time to make Pad Thai for supper.
