Oh yes, Hosta, I meant to comment on the amazing salt flat photos. Unfathomable that it's the size of Switzerland.

And welcome back after your very productive weekend, Dove.

Sorry to hear about the jackdaw, Liri. Hope there's a happy ending. We rather stupidly didn't get the little cages added when we were having our loft converted, so when the adjoining house was having theirs done we asked the guys up on the scaffolding to pop it on for us. We still don't have one on the chimney we actually use though - t'other side of the roof!

We watched the two national treasures, Attenborough and the Queen, talking about trees too.

Off to Norfolk tomorrow, should be a sunny, warm week.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hope the sciatica eases and you can enjoy the trip, BL.

Glenys. We are still without decent rain. We had 3 mm from the predicted lot this week. Not enough to stop watering vegetable plants.
Terrible tale that someone stole the underground wiring for the internet and phones. Sometimes you have to wonder what goes through people’s heads.
weve had and still had a terrible bushfire south west of Sydney for 5 days. Claims on TV that they were deliberately lit. 😳

Hope you have a good trip over Lizzie ✈️
Know what you mean about notifications GWRS - I turned mine off too  :/

Royal Albert Hall was amazing - our tickets were in the choir, so behind the stage, but incredible view, and an unbelievable sound  :open_mouth:B)

We were, as the yoofs say, blown away 😳🤪😆

Morning, afternoon Pat. Dreadful about the fire near sydney
Chicky that’s quite a picture, a long time ago Oh had to give a speech there, days before mobiles for photos so you have given me a visual I have never had! Glad it was a hit
Dove nowhere like your own bed is there?
Joyce I was really quite concerned about the wind. Should abate around lunchtime which is just as well as we have dil and girls coming for a break from London. Only problem is London is to have a heat wave! Never mind as long as it’s dry we will get out.
