Isn’t it surprising how different our tastes are? I can’t bear the taste of soft egg yoke, but quite like hard boiled eggs. We have a nifty little gadget which slices them perfectly for egg and lettuce sandwiches. 😜
Obelixx, yes, thanks for comment about how long our marriage has survived. We were talking about that recently, and I’ve decided that the quality that I liked most about him was/is his sense of humour. I didn’t ever have with the first hubby. I put it down to him coming from a north European country which had quite different attitudes to our relaxed Australian style. 🤨
    time for sleep soon.
    catch up tomorrow.

Candelabra primulas are so beautiful ... just down the road from here is the Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, on the Norfolk Broads ... they have 25,000 candelabra primulas blooming each year http://www.greatyarmouthmercury.co.uk/ /have-you-seen-these-photos-of-beautiful-primulas-on-your-doorstep-1-4543805

Hi folks, Better night sleep last night but feel really sick everytime I think about the court hearing on Wednesday.
The good news is I have tadpoles, they have hatched and are wriggling around energetically.  To be honest I thought they had died in the cold weather.  I have been in the garden this morning and planted out my sweet peas.  First year I have grown them in the garden and not in pots.  Off to Stoke tomorrow to return the wheelchair as they failed to collect for the third day.

    Yvie ((hugs))
    Hurrah! for tadpoles  :)

Just spoke to Wonky ... she had a lovely evening with good friends last night, and doesn't have a sore head at all ... but she's locked out of the forum and couldn't remember her password so she did the new password thing and that took her to a page which can't be accessed ... so she'll have to wait until Nora is in the office and Wonky has some free time from work in order to sort it out ... but she sends felicitations to all  :)

Busy busy day but lots achieved.
Yvie have I missed something? Have you been called for jury duty or as a witness. Don’t worry they are not as intimidating places as you fear. Rescue remedy!(if you don’t know about this google it, Bach flower remedy. Very effective)
if anyone is a Jackie Lawson ecard fan there is a gorgeous summer garden calendar just launched. It is absolutely gorgeous and I have sent one to my gd whom I have taught to enjoy flowers. I have ine two so we can discuss on FaceTime what we do.  Have a look, great value. And no I am not on commission!!
glad Wonky had a good night
Joyce no sign of flower yet on my primula! We reached the glorious heights of 12 today what about you?

LilyP, the C primula is not in flower. I was just happy to see the leaves (it doesn't take a lot to make me happy).  Dry and mild in the morning then drizzle. Sun shining now.
Agree the garden calendar is gorgeous.

Yay! My sweet peas are finally in the ground, it's been dry warm weather all day in the NW so I've got my weeding done and tidied all the old dead twigs away.
Dove I ended up having two big eggs on crumpets for dinner mmmmm 🤗

No LP, we are being sued by a former tennant of hubby's dad's house.  It's a bit of long story basically we treated her as a friend never raised the rent did everything for her but didn't put her deposit in a security account.  We gave her it all back despite the house being in a state and complaints from police and neighbours but apparently we will probably have a hefty fine plus court costs.  I feel like I'll never be kind to anyone again at the moment.

Been out in the garden this afternoon and moved clematis Betty Corning (don't know if she will be happy about it).  Replaced her with Perl d'Azur to grow through rose New Dawn.  Did a few other small jobs, now planning a relaxing evening.

Yvie that is a dreadful story. I hope you ask the court to see common sense. Sometimes the law is an ass! Good luck. Google rescue remedy!
