    Good morning  :)

Hope coalface duties pass quickly, Hosta, and you have a good time with your sister. Hope the weather improves for your visitors, LP. Must say it's not feeling very heatwave-y here at the mo. Cool, a bit blustery, but sort of bright and promising. Excellent gardening weather really, but I have to revise.

Love the Albert Hall, Chicky, always a treat. We could only get seats in the choir at the first Prom I took Bow to, but we liked sitting there so much it's been our location of choice since!

Pat, those fires must be worrying. Glad they're too far away for your OH to be involved though.

    Hi all.

Hope you will forgive my somewhat erratic appearances on here.
I have to admit, that i am struggling a bit at the moment.
How do you make a decision, when neither of the choices seem terribly good, and both could be terribly bad.
Gardening distracts me briefly, but it is so hard not to ruminate.

Glad you enjoyed the concert Chicky, you just can't beat live music.
Have a fab time with your sister, Hosta.
How can you lie there and think of England

It was 'Bastille' (have to confess to never having heard of them ), Hosta. I always enjoy telling people I've performed at the Albert Hall,  more than once... OK, it was fancy skipping - the kind where you swing your ropes about and do twiddly footwork - and I was but a teenager,  but still... ;)

Your decision must be very difficult, punkdoc. Do you have a point by which you have to decide, or is it open-ended? I tend to do a SWOT analysis or similar when I'm going round in circles. The other method I tend to use is to make a decision and live with it, convincing myself it's definite, for a few days. My guts then tell me if it was the right one... which means I can then make the actual decision more easily. Hope that makes sense.

Pdoc ((hugs))  nothing to forgive ... post when you feel like it, don't when you don't ... we're here and thinking of you both  <3

Hosta, hope you and your Big Sis have a lovely time togetgher ((hugs))

I once had tickets for an event at the Albert Hall ... the morning of the event Wonky and another child collided with each other's heads in the school playground and she had to be rushed to hospital with concussion ... so I didn't go ... I have forgiven her ... the WI sent someone else as their delegate to the AGM   B)

I forgot to mention, I saw my first hedgehogs ( yes plural ) last night. I think I'm going to have to put out "seconds" for them.
