    Hi all.

    Back from clinic, nothing new.

Snow due tonight, not in the mood for that at all.

Dove heard from fairy just before Christmas LP.

I remember Fairy had some IT issues a while back ... maybe it's happened again.  image

I don't really know who Regina is either, Dacha. Must have missed the post when Pat explained or memory is being sieve-like again.

We went to Diss today. I bought a couple of what they call "fat squares", pieces of cotton fabric for doing patchwork. Super sewing shop. Looked around Morrisons, had a cider and a snack in a pub.

It has been a wild and woolly wet and windy day today but I've been indoors at crosspatch group so only noticed when people popped out at lunchtime for sandwiches and complained.   They're not used to it poor things, even in January.   Today we had to make a log cabin block which then is cut to shape, padded, lined and edged to make a reading glasses case.  I am making mine a little bigger to hold Possum's sunglasses.  Nice wee project except for their insisting it all be sewn by hand and on a backing cloth.  It has taken all day just to get the basic block done!

I hope you've all had a good day, safe and warm if the weather's been bad.   Good luck and get well to all those dealing with lurgies.  I hope they clear up soon.

Had to google D O'R to see who she was.  It does seem a shame, especially so young.

Dacha ... if I hear from Fairy I'll certainly pass your offer on image  She also has RSI in her wrists and from time to time stays away from keyboards.

Had a little mission for son earlier to collect a small amplifier for him ... had to go via our old street ... it's hardly changed since we left seven years ago.

Now I'm nicely full of cold roast chicken, jacket potato, carrot salad and Baby Gem and will settle  for a quiet evening on the sofa with the knitting  image

Is that second one a robin or a  very rotund male bullfinch?  image
