A good idea Pat if you don't have anything planned for an early start.

    Morning all.

I was talking with 2 young men who are starting up a nursery near the hotel. ( lots side by side along the roadside ) and I was telling them about canna warscewiczii and they'd not heard of it. I found a couple of seed pots on plants in the hotel garden so I took them round yesterday and explained the whole, chitting with nail clippers method of propagation . Hubby has kindly volunteered me to go round this morning with nail clippers and show them how it's done.

Apart from that, nowt much to report from here.

I hope all are well at home.

Well done Hosta.  I hope they're successful.

    Well done you too Pat.

I have the window open here to air the living room a bit and the birds are chirruping.   Not full dawn chorus breeding mode but lovely all the same.   The council hedge trimmer came by yesterday and the day before.  Not the usual chap and he's been a bit brutal and left branches lying all over the verges.

OH had a chat with horsey neighbour on his way back from walkies and it seems he's been chopping down lots of his trees - planted too many - cos his wife has told him she needs more light and some flower beds after seeing my small effort in the front this year.  Good news for insects.

Speaking of which, something has bitten me in the night and i have several itchy spots on my torso.  Same as the ones that drove me mad at Halloween last year but OH is, of course, untouched.

    Have a good day everyone.

Not yet Pat ... I'll ring the practice next week and make an appointment to see my GP ... I'm not due a new prescription for over a month so there's plenty of time image

Obelixx ... ouch ... hate bites ... everything used to bite me given half a chance but they seem to have gone off me over the past few years.

Hosta ... sounds like a great project image
