All that dashing will no doubt push up the BP too Dove!   Paintings on the crafts thread maybe?   Best to get the boob squeezing done and dusted.

DL - haven't used margarine for 30 years.   Butter or rapeseed oil or olive oil and, more recently, coconut oil and duck fat if we've had duck breast to render.

Hope you are well today Pdoc and able to study or whatever takes your fancy.

Joyce - I have ordered some turmeric supplements.   Should arrive in the next day or so.

Good morning everyone.   Hope you're having a good start to the day.  Anyone had news from Fairy?

We have more rain but only light.   46cm since mid December which is half a years' ration.   Excellent.  I expect you're wet too Busy.

    Morning all.

Pat - it's quite easy to miss seeing the flowers of Iris Foetidissima as, to me, they are drab. The open seed pods give a good splash of colour.

Dentist this afternoon for a small filling.

    Morning all

Dacha that sounds an interesting pie

Dove I agree with Obelixx all this dashing not a good idea.  Hold nice and still then it doesn’t need redoing!

Joyce we can’t see in front of our nose here  assume you the same if not worse being near the sea.

would you believe I have other half’s symptoms , coughed all night, can’t get warm and a thumping headache. My one outing to lunch in town should have been today but had to phone friend and cancel.  she sounded worse than me!

i am hoping Fairy is resting her wrists after the chaos of Christmas.

Yes, Joyce. they are a bit miserable as flowers I agree, but they are right opposite the kitchen sink so I would have seen them if they’d bothered to make an effort.  Maybe I need to pamper them with a bit of water and fertiliserimage.

    Morning all.

Not raining at the moment, Obelixx. I don't use margarine either.

Dove, my OH bought a blood pressure from Lloyds Pharmacy for about £15. He kept having to take it for the Doc too and keep a chart. White coat syndrome.

Must do some HW and prepare spare room for the Housesitter, off to Norfolk tomorrow.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Our forecast is for a dry day with  downpours from 11pm.   Sunny now, anyway.

Have a good trip tomorrow.  No hold ups I hope.   Flying again?

LP -  only slightly hazy here.

Obelixx - I noticed the difference after one week of taking Turmeric pills. Hope they are effective for you too.

Her pelmenies are very special also....we always have a pile of them in the freezer ...she made a load for us before she left with a hand form my BH image

That sound great Joyce.  I'll let you know.   Does it just ease pain or reduce swelling too.  I can't get my engagement ring over my finger knuckle any more and have been thinking of having it altered but matbe I won't need to.

Off out to exercise the toes in an hour or two, after another session at the machine.....

Dreadful disaster in California.   Escape the fires to be destroyed by mud?   Not sure which is worse.
