Well, at least it's still under warranty so fixable or replaceable. Timing I assume, is the top needle coming down in sync and looping the bottom thread correctly. Just having a build up of fluff under the plate can mess that up sometimes. I remove and clean mine after every garment/project sewn.
Forgot to say earlier, given their behaviour off the pitch and their inglorious performance on it, the English team nearly all deserve to be fried. They are paid to be there after all.

Ob fully agree.....I love cricket , I know, strange for a paddy but fell in love with it when I moved to Manchester in the early 70s ....my first wife had dated David Hughes before she lowered her standards with me .... got to play it as well ......Ben Stokes has a lot to answer for as well .
BL yes FUBAR is a rude term ......having worked all my life in the IT industry and all of the companies ...US Multinationals .....many of the top execs were ex military which is where the term originated in WW2 ......PD already explained what FUBAR is but another hackneyed expression was SNAFU....Situation Normal All F$%^&^ Up
You’re rather blasé about the poor cricketers having to play in that exceptional heat, I must say. I was expecting more outrage and sympathy from you all.
Just woken and we’ve actually had some rain over night, so it might be cooler today, fingers crossed.

Pat, I hope the fires south of you don't spread.
Thanks for the thought Joyce. Bushfires are always on my mind in summer.
Not blasé here Pat
Wouldn’t wish playing in those conditions on anyone. Now hearing that Joe Root is in hospital as a result
Chicklet is melting in Adelaide .... still trying to get acclimatised after an English Christmas
Chicky, sounds bad everywhere over here. Did you have a good day out?
Not really Pat - we were taking littlest chicklet back to Uni, so now the house feels a bit empty again
Sorry, i forgot you were doing that.. think positive - less laundry and food preparation.
