    Not fake news:

He's as stable as he's humble!

How are you today Joyce?  Weather calmer?

Beautiful sunny day Obelixx but bitterly cold with -4C forecast overnight.

Best to stay tucked up warm then.  We're at 10C at the mo but expecting a frost on Tuesday morning.

Have had to send OH out on his own with the dogs while I try and a) unblock his bloody Dyson and b) persuade the steam cleaner to let me put some water in it.  Or maybe I'll just get out the mop.

Obs - shouldn't OH see to his own Dyson or has he tried and failed?

He should, but he's done the entire downstairs except the bit where the boiler sits and where we keep the recycling boxes  and the bloody Dyson which he left in the annex.  When I went to do it there was no suck!   I've given up and used a dustpan and brush.

I don't think he's off the hook Joyce ... he's obviously allowed something to be sucked up which has blocked it ... in my book that's 'his bad' ............ (see how contemporary I can be image)

OH has been informed of the blockage.  He had just emptied it so it's probably something stuck in the stupidly narrow slot between the suction hose and the collector.  It's also a stupid shape to store and had a ridiculously short cable and the system for storing spare heads is totally useless.  Apart from all that and the mess it makes when being emptied it's probably a fine machine - not.

I'm sticking with my Miele cylinder - which I repaired myself after we bought the bloody Dyson cos it was broken - and the robot and an occasional brush.   At least the Karcher just needed to cool down so I could add more water.  Simples.

Now that's all sorted I'm off to sew while I wait to get in the shower.  Gardening tomorrow then.  Too dark now.
