Obelixx - I have been taking one 10,000mg Turmeric tablet a day along with my normal meds and have found it very effective for arthritis. GP said that some people respond well to it.
How big's your floor Learnin? Shall I do yours when I wipe the mop over my kitchen tiles?

Morning all. Having a lazy morning to kick-off my week off work. I really need to do a mammoth tidy/clean/washing session today as this week has been very much work, eat, sleep with no time or energy for other activities! Have littlest neice coming over later so we will make some cakes (note to self: don't bother washing kitchen floor prior to pre-schooler vs. icing sugar).
I hope you all ok and germs, ailments and worries soon disappear.

Wow Joyce , that sounds like a lot of Turmeric.....I suffer from OA as well and a friend suggested it but at a much lower dosage !!!
The Ikea stores across Russia are like theme parks for people , the restaurants are always crowded .....students travel miles to pig out on the 35P hot dogs
IKEA is good for cotton sheets and duvet covers but I learned a long time ago that the flat pack stuff is cr*p. Even the solid pine stuff falls apart over time and needs constant tightening up. Much happier buying brocante and Troc stuff I can play with as it stays where you put it. Don't like modern stuff. Don't like their restaurants either.
I have made a healthy butternut squash soup for lunch but it turns out the squash is watery, even after roasting in the oven for 40 mins to steam off excess moisture. Must be one from the compost heap escapee.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Right ... back from the shops with provisions ... we're unlikely to starve over the next week .... washing out of the machine and draped around upstairs rads .... just the kettle to descale now then I can have lunch, prep a couple of rainbow trout and veg for our supper and open the seed catalogues .......

I have also never been to IKEA.
However, every plant nursery and GC. within a 20 mile radius, that is a different story.

When we took a group of senior pupils to Moscow, the first MacDonald's had recently opened and they wanted to go. Queued for an hour to get in!
Thanks Joyce. I shall look for some to try.
