Liri, the sea bream is filleted, so I’ll just pan fry it with butter and lemon.
Obelixx, I am pleased with the decorating. There was a silver lining to the flood cloud. I now have a lovely light landing corridor instead of a dark gloomy one. Looking forward to the new carpet and bathroom floor, but they can’t fit them until the 5th February.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
First of four days off to fit in intensive housework, food shopping, relative visiting, caroling, cooking, eating and clearing up! Alarm goes off at 5.45am for work, today I got woken at 6.10!!!! So that was a nice lie in! I'd planned to try and get a bit more sleep in the spare room but the cats had a list of jobs for me which made me fully awake!
Now I'm thinking of getting the food shop out of the way early so I don't have to deal with people and traffic! So list writing is about to commence.
Hope everyone is well and warm, thanks folks for putting pictures on the baubles thread, really lovely to see
Will read back and catch up properly later, best wishes to all!
Off to pick my turkey up in a minute. I promise to be nice

Morning all.
Not going to think about politics.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
