  • Yes thanks Joyce.  He's a lot better, just discolouration on the leg and a swollen foot now.  image

Manuka honey is wonderful stuff.  Hope it does the trick.   Tea tree (manuka) essential oil is wonderfully healing stuff too.

Well i assume you are all asleep now, but hello anyway.

Weve got a hot sunny day, but not too bad yet. Iv been pulling out poppies and Nigella plants that had taken over the veg beds in the off season, so now all I have to do is dig it over and manure and then I can transplant the zucchini and cucumber plants that I’ve been growing in 4” pots since I planted the seeds. They’ll no doubt be pleased to be given som root room.  I might just wait until layer today to disturb them though. The hot sun will probably be too much for them.

we are taking my new car into town for its first service this afternoon. I must say that I’d like to put some comments in to Toyota about some of the design aspects of this new beaut car. I have a lot of trouble reaching over my shoulder for the seat belt clip and then when I have succeeded, the belt cuts into my neck.  Then lifting the boot door up is very heavy for me and makes me groan everytime. I haven’t yet worked out how to open the glove box which is almost down to floor level.  Should I keep going on about it? Never mind, time to stop whingeing.

night to younall or good morning when you wake.
